Contractors

The Contractors were the first in the history of the Contract Motleys to assign a single contract to a single Changeling. That Changeling and not the motley itself would suffer the Contract's Penalty if it were broken.

Then something mysterious happened. A book appeared in Prince Hiram's office that held the contracts and their details, and no one could find the Changelings. They disappeared, and no one remembers them completely nor have complete memories of them. The book itself is the only proof these changelings even existed. No one agrees when the Changelings disappeared.
