Power Level

The player’s Power Level is determined by the average Power of their equipped Weapons and Armor. Each piece of gear has a specific Power stat, with higher quality gear having more Power. However, Power calculations are not always straightforward as some gear may have unique abilities or bonuses that could give players an edge in Combat , but have a higher cost and therefore lower Power overall. Players need to decide whether to prioritize overall Power level or unique bonuses when selecting their Loadout.

Restrictions

Certain areas of the game are gated based on the player's Power Level. For example, if an area has Enemies that are much higher level than the player's current average Power, they would have a much harder time surviving or completing Quests in the area. This would encourage players to level up and improve their gear before attempting these more difficult areas.
To prevent players from simply trading for the highest Power gear possible, many items have a minimum XP Level to utilize so players must increase their XP level to correspond with their Power Level.
