Resources is something Singlar has in abundance. A city of industry and learned people, Singlar is known for its impressive ports, its incredible factories, the vast minerals and materials available to it, and Singlar Academy.
Despite the other advantages Singlar Academy is probably the city’s largest asset. Teaching nearly every subject from mineral composition to the art of Technomancy, Singlar Academy is unparalleled in its breadth of study. While places such as the Schola Magus may teach more advanced magic and the Ordicus Technomantis may understand technology better than anyone, the Singlar Academy is the only place you could learn both at the same time with proficiency. Scholars from all over Kalin (and beyond) travel to Singlar just for this institution, and it made them a target (now an asset) of Tharrisia.
Off the coast of Singlar lies “Singlar’s Shield”, a large island that once housed a fortress shielding Singlar from naval invasion. It still performs this function but is also one of the primary ports for the Tharrisian navy.

Demographics

Singlar is a diverse cosmopolitan town with many areas of expertise. Many races and people come for Singlar academy, and many people work in the docks, fisheries, factories, and mines of Singlar. This means you can find the poorest poor to the richest rich. Racially Singlar is probably the most diverse in the world, with barely over half of the population being Human.

Government

Singlar is ruled by an elected civilian Governor, who has wide reaching power and control of the city and a rare privilege not afforded to any other Province of the Impero Tharrisian. Though that same Governor ultimately must answer to the Senatus of Tharrisia.

History

Singlar has the historical honor of being the first ever Fallen City conquered in a post Torva'Ir Kalin, being the first successful conquest of Tharrisia in the mid-Second Age.

Singlar is a city of fine stone and metal, and reflects the mixture of industriousness and education that makes it unique.

Geography

The city of Singlar is surrounded by low hills where their mineral wealth comes from, plenty of farms for their food, and is otherwise populated with towns and smaller cities that feed the city.
