"POLICE PRECINCT BOMBED! 200+ DEAD! RUSTERRA TERRORISTS TAKE CREDIT! PREISDENT VRAN VOWS ACTION!" -Ibrim Inquirer Headline

The Ibrim Precinct 4 Bombing (also called the "1006 Ibrim Bombing") was a terrorist attack on the city of Ibrim.   A group of Rusterra Separatists infiltrated the city of Ibrim in the Summer and managed to sneak a large bomb inside an oversized suitcase into Police Precinct 4. They pretended to leave it as "found property."   At some point, a Ibrimese Police Officer opened the suitcase, detonating the explosive. The explosion destroyed the Precinct, as well as heavily damaging nearby buildings and impacting people walking in the street.    240 people are confirmed to have died in the attack, and to this day 30 are listed as missing (presumed incinerated by the initial explosive).    The Rusterra Separatists happily took credit for the attack; but many in the Union suspect that the Separatists had help from Tharrisian Intelligence. No evidence of this accusation has come to public attention.   The attack led to stricter security in various Union cities, as well as an increased Union Army presence in Rusterra.
