Natalya Ivanhoff

Natalya Ivanhoff was born in 1869 to Pyotr and Alina Petrov. Her parents were killed by Pufuktin in a fire and he captured her and brought her to Lenisily and had her raised in a military academy. When she was fifty five Pufuktin chose her to join the KAV and started charming her and raping her while she was a soldier. She met Dimitri Novikoff, a half-elf Sergeant who became her trainer and they eventually fell in love and had a secret affair for years without Pufuktin finding out. After about seventy years, Natalya hits her breaking point and she takes an opportunity to kill Emperor Staladin and escapes Lenisily and makes her way into Thymryu. While there she helps a group of adventures defeat a demon lord and she decides to go home and fix her mistakes. On her way through the mountains, she meets Fenneck Frostears who turns out to be her soulmate and he takes her into Glitterfjell. They eventually help each other save refugees in the mountains with the help of Dimitri. Natalya and Fenneck eventually become engaged as Dimitri starts to age. Before the wedding Natalya decides to take a family back to Arrallath and gets accused of murdering King Zeitdrache. She has to try and clear her name, while avoiding getting captured as she makes her way to Flottenheim. She has to go into the mountains and save Fenneck who got himself captured by the person behind her accusation, the Mage of Shadow. They finally make it back to Flottenheim and their thiramin connection ends as Natalya learns she has to leave and figure out how to clear her name. She leaves Glitterfjell with the intention to defeat the Mage of Shadows.

Her imperial majesty Natalya Rasputin is the current Empress of Lenisily and wife of Ivan Rasputin. Empress Natalya is responsible for three of the greatest assassination this continent has ever seen, all of which occurred before she married Emperor Ivan and began her career as Empress. She was responsible for the murder of the former emperor of Lenisily Emperor Anessen Staladin; the performer, queer icon, and political rights activist and fiancé of Fenneck Frostears, Erikur Oblonsky; and the assassination of King Zietdrache of Thymryu only twenty years prior. This is her first time stepping foot onto Thymryu soil despite many threats from civilians and the advise of her own military advisors. It is also the first time she and Fenneck will be seen in public together, which almost prompted the Glitterfjellians to rescind their invitations to the festival due to safety precautions. Despite her nefarious background as a KAV soldier and undercover spy her reign as Empress has been seen as a blessing by many throughout Lenisily, especially the nobles after restoring many traditions and hosting lavish parties that had gone by the wayside during Ivan and Anessen's reigns.
