Broken Dreams Gambling House
The Broken Dreams Gambling house is the most well known gambling house in the Prolegart District. From the outside the place looks like a standard tavern, thought an unusually busy one most time. It is open only in the evenings and not on Sunday Night. Inside the den is broken into several areas. Through the main door is the common area and bar. This area has room for about 6 tables. Food and drink are served here and there is usually a musician providing entertainment. PAst the common room, three steps down is the gambling hall. Ten Tables fill this area, six devoted to cards and 4 to dice games. In order to sit at one of the table the patron must pay a token to the house. A jot for a low stakes game, or a mark for high Stakes. Higher Stake games where many gold can pass hands are not allowed in the House. A low balcony runs along the inner wall of the gambling area, allowing spectator to watch the games from above. This is usually used on Friday Nights, when the House has a weekly Poker and Three Dragon Ante tournament.
The House is run by the halfling Ardel Minster, who has a loyal staff of cooks, barmaids, and muscle to keep the place running well. He has owned the Tavern for 6 years. The previous owner was unknown.

Architecture
The building is largely wood, with a stone basement, that hold a root and wine cellar.
History
The tavern was opened in 841 though the owner was unknown at the time. It was run by a few different managers for many year until It's current owner purchased it. It has been closed by the city several time for different langths of time due to incidents.
In 850 there was a unsolved murder in the tavern, seemingly in front of the entire patronage, though no one remembers seeing it, just finding the body on the floor. The place was close while an investigation was conducted but noting was found. The current manager was fired as well as several of the staff. In in 855 it was closed for a time after a large brawl erupted over accusation of cheating. The owner had to agree to hiring more security before it was allowed to open again. In 859 it was closed again, as some time of magical effect went off causing the entire patronage to disrobe and streak through the streets naked. None of them remembered doing the act, but it tarnished the reputations of several prominent citizens. Not for gambling or the nudity, but for being associated with a business in the Prolegart District.
