Miner's Lament
The Lumberjack's Lamant is a large tavern in the Prolegart District. The tavern caters to the locals who work out in the Bogs collecting Ore for days. Once the crews come back to the city and get paid their first stop is usually, Miner's Lament.
The place gets its name because of the memorials that are held here when a miner loses his life. Working in the bog is dangerous, not only the work itself, but the dangers of the creatures that roam the swampy lands west of Hilston. It is rare that a month goes by with the miners losing one of their own. Their tradition is is to visit the Miner's Lament, and have a drink in the honor of the fallen workers and tell stories about them thought the night.
The Lament was owned by a trading company for many years, but the company went under after some bad investments, and the Tavern was bought by Vozilo Plainarm, a Halfling who has done well keeping the Lament well cared for.
