The Key to Elvenhome, The Godwood Report

General Summary

Knowing the that they were going to be traveling through the rough terrain of the Godswood, the party decided it was time to leave the cart behind.  They met with Crissius and Fettlebottom, and before they left and Fettlebottom was happy to see their cart and horses at the shipbuilder until they needed them.  He also showed them his secret project.  An airship.  He is creating it for the party to eventually use to move around and keep ahead of the Vemoraxx.  He explained that he needed a special item to make it fly.  Something called the Stone of Air, that is in the possession of the King of Elvenhome.  Trusting them to find a way to get it, he bid them good luck.  Crissius also asked them about the Order's headquarters here in Hilston.  They were a bit confused and after taking to Indo discovered that there are several homing stone already enchanted to the amulet, that just need to be calibrated.  One was hee in Hilston.  They were able to use the amulet to calibrate it and travel there.

The headquarters had been packed up years ago, and the was underground just outside the city with an outside entrance by the river.  It as a bit flooded and would need some work to get in a livable condition, but crissius and Brenlia would work on that while they were gone, so they had a place to return for a bit.

They then used the amulet again to travel back to the refugee camp in the Godswood.  They needed to go north across the river to get to Mithril Castle, so they headed out looking for an old bridge.  On the way they found an large tree with strange stick figures tied to it.  They party didn't care for the tree so they moved on, and found the bridge.  It tuned out it was being guarded by a particularly verbose Troll.  He explained he wasn't really a troll and had been cursed by a Fey creature into this form, and he had to slay 25 humanoid in order to be set free.  The party left him, not wanting to be one of the 25.  They traveled for the day and found a group of hunters setting down for the night.  The party spent the night in their camp, but awoke to find the camp had been abandoned for many year and the hunters bones, now old and decaying, lying amongst the camp.

The group decide to move on, and came across a small village.  Strangely the village appeared to be occupied by goblins, even though the village was look decidedly human, with human like building.  Not only that but the goblins also acted strangely, as if they were human as well.
