Known World

The Known World (according to Shurrean scholars) encompasses only a small fraction of Norath. This includes the Inner and Solaran Seas, the navigable rivers feeding into them, as well all lands bordering those bodies of water. The majority of the interior land masses is largely unknown, at least to the Shurreans.
Based on fragments of pre-Shattering maps and globes which have been discovered, and astronomical calculations of Norath's diameter, it is estimated the Known World only covers about 1/4 of the total surface of Norath.
