Ghazanar

The Ghazanar is the central river making his way through Gharlarad, being the lifeline of the desert country. The river is indeed so important to the life in Gharlarad that it is also worship as the embodiment of the Goodness Ghazanar.
Once a year the river floods due to her countless tributary bringing melting snow from multiple mountain ranges into the stream. This yearly flooding brings with it mineral rich soil that makes the banks of the river extremely fertile - securing the agricultural output that feeds the people of Gharlarad and vast amount of people on the rest of the continent Norien. This flooding is the focal point of various religious ceremonies in the faith of Ghazanar.
