Well of Bounty (a.k.a. The Wellspring)
Overview
Within Jade Ring lies an expansive garden where crops are grown, feeding the citizens of Novus. At the heart of this garden is the Verdant Sanctuary, the central place of worship for Ezrethel. While a complex network of mirrors, daylight crystal, and irrigation makes this growth possible, mythology and worshippers of Ezrethel believe that this seeming magical force that gives rise to the plants is the Well of Bounty itself. This Well exists as a force deep within the earth, giving rise to all life and nature. Ezrithel is the name that has been given to this genderless force. Ezrithel is patronized my religious members of the Adamantine Wayfinders who have seen pockets of verdant nature persist even amongst the Miasma. Before the fall of Novus, many believe that civilization spat at the blessings of Ezrithel by constructing machines that filled the air with smog and leveled forest for the sake of building factories for the creation of machines. The fact that Ezrethel gives provision for Novus even now is a sign of the dedication Ezrethel has to life, even when civilization takes these bounties for granted. The most extreme believers in Ezrethel believe the fall and the Miasma were caused by Ezrethel to correct the mistakes and crimes against nature.
