Tsukitae (Tsoo-kee-tah-ay)
Preparer of Souls (a.k.a. The Hallowforge)
Overview
All trials give meaning according to followers of Tsukitae, who believe that the souls of mortals do not actually reside within the body, but within the Hallowforge, a Well of Souls not on this plane of existence. The Hallowforge is most associated with the moon, which is said to glow brightest at night on the Night of the Soul, where Tsukitae is hard at work, molding and shaping souls towards his end. Tsukitae’s goal in subjecting mortaldom trial is to harden and train souls for the Darktide. What exactly the darktide is is debate within the religion. Many believe it is a final battle to expunge the miasma and reclaim the world while others believe it is a climactic battle with the Gods, perhaps to strike down Mazarathes. What is clear is that Tsukitae desires strong allies, not just of body, but of soul - courageous in the face of adversity and unencumbered by life’s difficulties. Strong followers of Tsukitae are often seen on the frontlines of battle. There are many followers within the Adamantine Wayfinders Wayfinders, who take risks that others would not, believing themselves to be safe from the soul-corrosive effects of miasma as their souls are entrusted to the Hallowforge.
