Personal history
Pitch was born to Queen Ebony and King Coal along with her sisters, Gray and Starless. In her youth, she was extremely weird, she had few friends and constantly got called out for being too controlling. Pitch was very cynical and pessimistic growing up, as she saw how miserable everyone around her was. She hated how dragons could easily destroy eachothers' lives and create a living hell for others so she became active in voicing concerns, becoming a favourable potential queen candidate. After becoming queen she tried so hard to erradicate suffering but obviously failed time and time again. Unfortunately for her, this fueled her insecurity. She implemented tolerance courses in schools, funded healthcare and even took her own time out of her day to talk to dragons who were struggling. But, like everyone knows, evil always persists and Pitch found it exhausting trying to delete it. If the red flags weren't clear enought, after finding out about anux magic in her library she desired to have mind control powers. She travelled to the DPH HQ to illegally buy the power from Viper and transfer it to her claw necklace. Now she had full mind control powers and could control anyone to do anything at will. She used it on her entire kingdom, finally making everyone lead fully happy lives. But is this moral? ehhh..
After Luster came in for refuge, Pitch controlled her to become her mate and after Wilbur and Nova came in, she also manipulated them. She also got a crush on Wilbur and controlled him as well. The day that Viper came back and secretly attacked Pitch on stage, she was finally defeated..?
Her necklace got ripped from her neck, freeing everyone from her control. After realising what she has done, she was chased out of her kingdom. Pitch was livid that everyone thought she was the bad guy and blamed everyone (especially Viper) for supporting evil. Pitch then travelled to the only dragon she believed could help her get back on the throne.

Incredibly morally grey. She believes freedom is the root of evil and acitvely erradicates it. But of course the irony is that she is using freedom to do evil.
