Jo Green was a member of The Coalition, who became its defacto leader after Lindsey Romero fled Beacon Hills.
Her father was an Omega, who left Ennis's Pack when she was a child, because even though she was a Human, he feared she would be in danger from Hunters if he stayed.
Despite this, he was murdered in 2008 by Gerard Argent simply for being a Werewolf. In response, Jo joined the Coalition to try and take revenge on Gerard.
Unlike other members of the group who wanted justice, Jo became obsessed with getting revenge, and didn't care what means she used to get it. Several innocent people were hurt by her schemes, including Stiles Stilinski and Dean Henry.
Along with the other surviving members of the Coalition, she was allowed to live by Scott McCall provided she left Beacon Hills and did not return.
