Kate Argent and some Argent Clan Hunters break into the Hale House and attack Derek Hale. Kate tells Derek that the Argents weren't the ones who killed Laura Hale to try and force him to tell her the Alpha's name, but realises he doesn't know.
Derek barely escapes before she shoots him.
