Kate Argent
Katherine Argent (a.k.a. La Loba)
Katherine Argent is the daughter of Gerard Argent and Elaine Argent, and younger sister of Chris Argent.
She had a close relationship with her father, who raised her to view The Code as little more than set-dressing. After she graduated, he began using her to carry out murders of supernatural beings who had not harmed anyone.
In 2003, they began discussing taking out the Hale Pack, a powerful but peaceful Werewolf Pack based in Beacon Hills. In order to get information about them, Kate began a sexual relationship with Derek Hale, despite her being 22 and Derek only 16.
Using the information he unwittingly gave her, in March 2004, she and two accomplises locked the pack in the Hale House and burned it down, killing 7 people, including one human, and four children.
In 2011, Chris asked for her assistance in dealing with The Alpha Murders, not knowing that Kate would be a target. She began dropping hints, hoping to steer Allison Argent to figuring out the truth about the Argent Clan. This culminated in her kidnapping Derek Hale and forcing him to transform in front of Allison.
During a final confrontation with Peter Hale, he apparently killed her, by cutting her throat with his claws. However, she actually survived, as the claws of an Alpha can sometimes trigger a transformation in the same way as the bite can.
She fled Beacon Hills and sought refuge with the Calavera Clan, however, they eventually realised she was a Werejaguar and she was forced to fight her way out of their compound. Her current wereabouts are unknown.
