Gargoyles

Overview

Gargoyles are unique golems developed to guard elven civilization, particularly against demons. Unlike the fairly broad forms and roles of most golems in Tron Daurat, gargoyles are almost always constructed out of stone or marble, and have wings of some kind that (largely thanks to their magical nature) allow them to fly.

While none of these factors are especially unique among golems, their relatively rigid construction belies their highly specialized enhancements. Gargoyles are usually set up around other statues of similar construction, allowing them to completely blend into their environments, and they have enhanced vision to let them locate intruders in total darkness. Most can produce holy water in a reservoir in their gullets, which they spit out to injure demonic foes.
