This species does not breed true. The moon spirits' children all tend to be elemental spirits as moon spirits can only be made by Tsukiyomi.

History

Originally created by Tsukiyomi the moon spirits were the embodiments of the cardinal directions and the four seasons. They spent most of their life on the moon. That is until one of them betrayed Tsukiyomi and killed him, this sent them all down to Shandalar. They mostly became kings and queens of different parts of the world.
