Morren Grastominus
Overview
Morren Telegra Nelepram Grastominus is a Praxan businessman and diplomat. He was elected Chancellor of the Omicron High Council in 3193.Early Life
Morren was born in 3128 in the Praxan Belt. He was raised by the Grastominus family, along with his brother Carver. Like all praxans, Morren attended the Praxan School of Business and became a member of the Intergalactic Business Guild in 3146 upon his graduation. After meeting a praxan diplomat, Graffen, who was very prominent within the Guild, Morren became interested in politics and decided to take up an apprenticeship with the Omicron High Council.Career
Training on Eldev
Ambassador Gaffen took Morren under his wing and taught him everything he needed to know to become an ambassador someday. Morren's first assignment was on Eldev when it was decided that despite Millennium War still going on, the eldevians needed to keep up their appearances on the High Council. The eldevians sent someone to the council while a position was offered for someone from the council to come to work/train on Eldev. Morren quickly jumped at the opportunity. He spent five years on Eldev where he became close friends with Kansas Vantara, Veta Montgomery, and Rensharr Smith. He and Smith were both training to become ambassadors and worked and studied often with each other. The two worked so well together that the eldevian government ended up having the two of them continue their correspondence after Morren returned to the Council, making Smith their only contact with the Council, who worked directly with Morren.Business on the Belt
Despite working for the Council, Morren still found time to conduct his own business and even open his own club on the Praxan Belt, the Pandamorren. Morren quickly garnered a name for himself in the criminal underworld thanks to the shady deals that often went on in his club. Due to the Praxan Belt not technically being under any sort of jurisdiction aside from the praxan government, Morren was safe from any criminal investigations. The Pandamorren has only two rules: 1) so long as it's done in private, no questions asked, and 2) clean up after yourself. The only time the Pandamorren was threatened with closure was after D.O.M.A.I.N. was formed, and someone tipped them off to possible illegal trade of crystalized carbidium going on in the backrooms of the club. That was the one illegal activity Morren strictly prohibited. His various business contacts put him in touch with the Xenoran Secrecy. This gave him even more access to information than his usual contacts, making him a formidable information broker. There were few things Morren could not get information on, but of course, it came at a price. The Omicron High Council
Because of the name he made for himself outside of the council, his reputation within the council grew as well, but not always for the better. Thanks to his xenoran contacts, several on the council were wary of him, worried he would use those contacts for political gain. However, Morren only worked with the xenorans for his business and made a point to separate his personal business from his work on the council. Despite being a praxan, he became the liaison between the council and Eldev, seeing as the eldevian government did not have someone permanently stationed on Celestrium, the council planet. Morren made several bids over the years to become Chancellor and was finally successful in 3193. His questionable business tactics and shady operations within the Praxan Belt made some of the council members nervous, but after the disgrace former Chancellor Roger Fitzgerald, they finally decided that Morren's business ventures were nowhere near as bad and decided to give him a chance.Chancellorship
Morren proved to be very suited for the job. He approached the Chancellorship with exuberance and gusto that only Morren could achieve. He often dealt with complaints put to the High Council personally and made sure all parties involved were treated fairly. Due to his past in shady business, he was not afraid to continue some of these practices if it got him the results he wanted, and because of his success rate, the council members often overlooked his deals.

The Allegiance War
Morren did his best during the Allegiance War to keep things as normal as possible for the allied planets. After the then Prime Minister Theodore Beasley all but revoked his chancellorship and set a bomb off in the council chambers on Scargil, killing the current sitting ambassadors, the council was thrown into chaos. It was not until Royal T. Flush was elected Prime Minister that Morren was allowed to return and keep things business as usual. Even with the war on, Morren, to help ease DOMAIN's burden, was able to keep on top of issues as they arose with the allied planets. In 3195, Morren and Lewis Auznarr met with a cridalic information broker, both to gain information and to allow the texlors to capture him. Morren had enough information to be valuable to the texlors and gave them something else to focus on, if only for a little while, allowing the allied forces to regroup and develop another plan of attack. Morren held out, however, and never gave them any information, leading the texlors to kill him for his efforts. Morren would go down as one of the most beloved Chancellors in Omicron's history, despite how brief his tenure.Personal Life
Very little is known about Morren's personal life. He was never married, nor had a partner that he ever addressed publically. Like all praxans, Morren likely has ten to fifteen children.
