The official history of the eldevian species
The Ancients sent Galmok and Ramok who then split up the reglorelds up into the regalans and the lorelds, easing the tensions.
Dirath Angla (which translates out of eldevian to Angels of Death) would later become known as the Coalition of Assassins.
Armed riots broke out all over Eldev instigated by the dissidents. Ramok attempted to broker peace but to no avail.
The group of dissidents was now going by the name Delcarr, which translates to “Pure of Mind” in the common tongue. This group was against Ramok’s teachings in that they didn't subscribe to his philosophy.
During the final battle between the eldevians and Delcarr, Helmarr, Ramok's second in command and best friend turns on him and kills him. Ramok curses Helmarr with his dying breath and, in turn, Eldev, making the atmosphere turn toxic. The process was already taking place in the atmosphere but only after Ramok’s death did the effects start being noticed.
By this time, Eldev's atmosphere was beginning to cause health problems among the eldevians. The loravs heard about their plight and built an airborne station that emitted a forcefield-type shield that protected the planet from the toxicity of the atmosphere. The eldevians later modified the system to also act as a defensive shield.
Now that Ramok was gone as well, Galmok began to get even more suspicious. He hid all three Triad artifacts within the Valnuir for their safekeeping.
The eldevians begin to realize that the silhadox are more intelligent than they let on. The eldevians were using the silhadox for cheap labor, and the sils seemed to thrive from being able to work. After a time, however, the silhadox began to get restless.
While the silhadox began demanding more rights 77 years earlier, what the eldevians gave them was deemed not enough. They wanted access to eldevian ships and weapons and to be sent back to Prema, the sil homeworld. For the first several years after this, there were extensive talks, trying to reach some sort of compromise between the two.
The eldevians send the silhadox back to Prema.
Because both species resided in the same system, the eldevian government exempted the sils from the tolls they had set up on the Intersystem Transit Lines.
Gunmar-hald was the leader of the silhadox. The eldevian that killed him had been exiled by the eldevians two years prior and in an attempt to get back at the eldevian government, he assassinated the hald.
On September 26, 2741, the first shots were fired between the eldevian ship RS Letarr and the silhadox ship Gruumhold. Up until that point, the sils had been boarding eldevian ships and kidnapping their crews, but no actual naval altercations had taken place. On a routine border patrol, the RS Letarr came across a seemingly abandoned sil ship. It was a trap, however. The Letarr and her crew was the first official casualty of the war.
A naval battle that occurred near Triad in an area of the Ramakus sub-system called Warrip Springs, a natural well of sycerrion gas used for powering home across the quadrant. The flagship of the eldevian navy, the RS Triad, was destroyed, the entire crew killed. This was the first major loss the eldevians had during the war.
