Aajintéa
Aajintéa (Western Orokhimshe: "first light") is the second largest town in the Western Woods, after Tua'ngara. It is also the closest permanent settlement on the Material Plane to the Elemental Plane of Fire.
Districts
Aajintéa is split into three districts: the Rungarodh (in the boughs of the trees), the Sederodh (along the shores of Lake Roto), and the Rotorodh (floating on the surface of the lake).
Points of interest
The Crown-Fire Grove sits two hours' travel northwest of Aajintéa. It hosts a rare two-way portal to the Autumn Court of the Feywild, which is protected by the peléans that make their home in the grove, as well as the Circle of the Crown-Fire Keepers.
Architecture
The architecture of Aajintéa differs wildly by district, reflecting the diversity of both geography and culture in the town. The Rungarodh is arboreal, with dwellings built in the crown of trees and connected by wooden ladders and bridges.
The Rotorodh, the newest district, is built on pontoons in Lake Roto, using Gnomish trading boat technology.
The Sederodh, positioned between the other two districts along the shores of Lake Roto, is the only place with enough room for terrestrial foundations. As a result, the largest buildings are able to be built in this long, narrow district. The Circle of the Crown-Fire Keepers' official meetinghouse is situated here, as is the town's largest temple to Prometheus.
