Brad is highly intelligent, but notoriously forgetful, impulsive, and unobservant. This combination frequently gets him into trouble. He is engaged to Samuel Stanley. Brad is close with three of the four members of the Heroes of Cape Hildegard. He threw a belated bachelor party (as well as a "posthumous bachelor party" slash wake) for Loge Haderaa while traveling with him in Cantonova. He also considers Blanche de la Force and Nekrotzar among his best friends. (Tchelio dislikes him intensely.) Brad is a 12th-level spellcaster. He uses Intelligence as his spellcasting ability (+9 to hit, save DC 17). Brad has the following wizard spells prepared:
Cantrip (at will): chill touch, mage hand, hideous laughter, prestidigitation, shocking grasp, toll the dead
1st level (4 slots): false life, thunderwave
2nd level (3 slots): scorching ray, phantasmal force, wither and bloom
3rd level (3 slots): life transference, revivify, vampiric touch
4th level (3 slots): blight, vitriolic sphere
5th level (2 slots): hold monster, negative energy flood
6th level (1 slot): eyebite
Frat of Skeletons Forme. As a bonus action, Brad conjures a group of hard-partying skeletons to surround him. He gains the following benefits:
- His base AC becomes 17.
- His size becomes Huge. Allies can enter and move through his space, ignoring any difficult terrain, but they cannot end their turn within his space. Enemies are pushed to a neighboring space, and must succeed on a DC17 DEX save or be knocked prone.
- He gains 36 temporary hit points.
- He cannot be grappled, restrained, or knocked prone.
Bound by Love. If Samuel is within 120 ft of Brad and has less than 10 HP, Brad has disadvantage on attacks against all targets besides the last one to damage Samuel. He must use all his movement to move closer to Samuel until immediately adjacent to him, provoking opportunity attacks as he does so.
Actions
Party Foul. Ranged Spell Attack: +9 to hit, range 60 ft., one target. Hit: 3d6 magical bludgeoning damage, and target's movement speed is reduced by 10 ft. until the start of Brad's next turn.
Brad's Beast Mode (Frat of Skeletons Forme only). Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 3d10 + 5 magical bludgeoning damage. The target is grappled (escape DC 17), and must succeed on a DC17 DEX save or be restrained. While a creature is grappled with Beast Mode, Brad can force it to move anywhere within his space. Any non-area attack against Brad has a 50% chance of hitting a creature grappled within Beast Mode instead.
Tattoo of Fireball (Recharge 5-6). Brad casts fireball at 3rd level.
Reactions
Arcane Echo. When Axel or Samuel casts thunderwave, Brad can use his reaction and a spell slot of at least first level to cast thunderwave at the same time. If the area of the spells overlap, a target in the overlapping area is affected only by the first spell cast.
You Good, Bro? When an ally within 30 ft. that Brad can see is hit by a critical hit, Brad can move adjacent to them, provoking no opportunity attacks, and heal them for 3d6 hit points. (If Samuel is hit by a critical hit, using this ability doesn't consume Brad's reaction.)
