Circle of the Lightkeepers

The Circle of the Lightkeepers is one of the druid circles of the Western Woods. They follow the philosophy of the Circles of the Moon. Their membership is almost entirely Orokhim, specifically Nuél-orokh. The Circle of the Lightkeepers are the only known druid circle whose more powerful members are capable of shapeshifting into bankhurim.

History

The Circle of the Lightkeepers is an ancient druidic tradition. Its exact founding is lost, though some claim it was begun by either Ilga the Brave herself or one of her children. Reshvaun Tsuun is also commonly cited as the first Archdruid of the Lightkeepers, though none of his surviving weavings mention them by name. Arakhi Heketoro Rangatirkaha was the Archdruid of the Circle of the Lightkeepers before his disappearance in the Y350s. He took most of the circle's capable warriors with him on his journey; none returned. The Circle spent centuries rebuilding itself and its reputation after that. Today it remains small, secretive, and largely mistrustful of outsiders.
