Circles of the Moon
The Circles of the Moon are a philosophical school of druid circles that focuses on honing their Shapeshifter abilities. Members of Circles of the Moon patrol their homelands in the guise of animals, making sure the wilderness is protected and striking down any intruders that threaten them. Some can even take on Elemental or Celestial forms, though these secrets are highly guarded within the circles.
Circles of the Moon often place a heavier emphasis on spirituality than some other circles, connecting with deities of light, moonlight, and nature. In remote places like the Wailë-Lands, the line between a Druid and a Cleric can sometimes be thin. Gods frequently associated with the circles of the moon include Danu and Morigana of the Wild Dynasty traditions, Artemis of the Olympian Dynasty, and the Titans Prometheus, Fricka, and the Two Daughters.
Some circles that follow the philosophies of the Circles of the Moon include:
Circle of the Lightkeepers, the oldest druid circle of the Western Woods.
Circle of the Waning Moon, a small, isolated circle from Isle Machmorraig associated with the Order of the Two Daughters.
An ancient druidic monument to the moon, located in the Ossir Hills.
