Naengwutë
A naengwutë (masculine naengwuto, feminine naengwuta), was a feudal lord in upper Scalados, roughly equivalent to a modern Viscount. The title became obsolete after the reunification of the Kingdom of Scalados following the War of Great Sorrow.
Naengwutë was a hereditary title passed from a great-grandparent to their eldest great-grandchild. Alongside the title, a mongwori was passed down from heir to heir, giving the naengwutë powers of divination in regards to the futures of those in their care. They were expected to use these powers to ensure the safety and prosperity of their realm.
