Eizenblume
The northwest territory of the Meadow is known as Eizenblume. Here, dwarf-lords descended from the high kings and jarls of Aardwulf made their home upon the continent of Oerth as they arrived from the western sea during the age of the great Sagas.
While many of these dwarf-kings would continue to travel north and populate the lands that would become Drin, some remained here in the Meadow and began the great work of building their Vahls. Where their northern clansmen embraced the emergence of new technology and craftsmanship such as the innovation of Dragonpowder, the dwarves of Eizenblume chose to break from old traditions and adopt the cultures of the perrenial and evanescent races which populated the continent. They befriended and shared marriage torcs with Humans, Halflings, and Gnomes whom made the region their home.

Hobbs, Goblins, Trolls, and Breakers of the Peace
The greatest threats to Eizenblume are the rancorous denizens of its mountains, its forests, and the dark pits beneath its surface. These lands are rife with small, unseen kingdoms ruled by Orc Warchiefs, Hobgoblin Lords, Goblin Kings, and Tyrant Trolls. The reason for the myriad of tusked threats which dwell here is debated but most agree it is due to them simply having no where else to flee towards. Driven south by the Iron Legions of Drin, and pushed North by the Iskar Astartes of Iskandar, these creatures live a savage, and nomadic existience in traveling to and fro, but most often settle in Eizenblume at their center. Attempts are always made to reconcile with these sapient goblinoids to avoid slaughter, and bloodshed when possible, but time and time again the treaties have been broken by one party or the other, and after so many generations of warfare there is little hope that peace can be brokered.Army by Tomasz Ryger
A Land of Dark Fables, and Superstitions
Perhaps because Eizenblume's origins begin with tragedy, and war; Or perhaps simply because it was popularized early in its development, this region boasts a wide number of unique fables, and stories that all too often share a dark turn, or twist. Where many fairytales and stories tend to have a happy ending, the storytellers of Eizenblume practice an oral art that focuses on tragedy, and horror. Their tales end with the death of its beloved characters, or the ironic (often cynical) fates they arrive at despite their best effort. The common folk of Eizenblume would tell you that this is simply true to life. That there are more unhappy endings than good ones.
Geography
The name "Eizenblume" loosely translates to the "Land of the Iron Flowers" in the Gnomish language. This name comes from the many battles waged by the Dwarf Lords against the Elven nations of the Valenruun (The Thornwilds) that lay to the east of this domain in the time of the great Sagas. Following these wars, there were so many battlefields that scoured these lands, and swords struck into the ground amidst the ashes that when they came to an end it was said you could walk a day's journey through them as if they were fields of iron roses.Queen Beatrix, High Queen of Eizenblume, ascended to the throne after the passing of her father, King Lothaire, who died in battle against the Hobgoblin Banner-Lord Skarzac. Her first decree was to begin the mustering of new armies to combat the tusked scourge of the land of iron flowers.
