Gravesford

Gravesford is the second largest city in Bettigar, a bustling town built right on the shores of Lake Eddard, or Lake Bettigar as foreigners call it. As well as a direct connection to The Patchwork Hills via a system of ferries that take passengers and food back and forth between the two regions. Gravesford is a very modern city for Bettigar, it boast a market district for shopping of fine goods and trade. The Lake helped build the town, it became quite famous for it's unique Redscale Trout; considered a delicacy outside of Bettigar, and a staple of Bettigarn cuisine.
If one finds themselves entering Gravesford the first thing they will notice is a old ruined church to Arlissa from before The Purge, The stone archway still serves as a gate or entry point of sorts into the town. The Church was at one time home to the Moon Seeker Priest, and it was the Cornerstone of the town outside of the lake. Many pilgrims traveled from not only Andrim, but beyond the countries borders to climb to the top of Moon Seeker Tower and pray with the priest there. However, after The Conquest of Ajax the church is little more than scorned bricks, of the many stained glass artistry that decorated the halls only one remains, a depiction of King Ormund battling Kel'Azad the Black for the fate of Andrim.
Notable business in Gravesford include
The Bull and Boar Inn; A large Inn near the towns center; two stories with room for quite a few guest. Its managed and run by man named Bullhorn Taylor.
The Hook, Line and Sinker; A smaller Inn and lake side restaurant owned by halfling brothers Rhea and Sterling Barlow; Rhea is very passionate about cooking, and has become quite famous for his Redscale Trout stew; Sterling catches fish for the Inn along with doing most of the cleaning, anything leftover they dont need for stew or other dishes is taken to the fish market for sale
Strops Leather shop- Strop is a half orc, his brother Ordex is a ferry master to The Patchwork Hills Strop tans and makes all kinds of leather goods from stags and other creatures he mostly gets from hunters of the Moonfire forest.
