Blighted

The Blighted are a Dwarf cult originating in Oros. All of their members have magical powers, which they consider to be a curse (the 'god taint'). They use these powers to subvert and scheme against the establishment of Oros. Their ultimate goal is the destruction of mages, magic itself, and the gods.
Historically they have a history of cursing and defiling the lands around Aran Anadil, leading to regular undead uprisings. This scheme was uncovered in 5000AG and the elves now maintain their guard against wayward necromancy.
After a failed coup against King Widogast in 5000 AG, the ranks of the Blighted were decimated, but they remain in deep caves and secret places under the mountains. Newly developing worship of the gods in Oros has enraged them.
