Vadric Principalities

The Vadric Principalities stretch along the north coast of Osun. Despite the country's name, the Principalities are a unitary state, and they have not been ruled by a prince in over two centuries.
Many rumors surround the Principalities due to its elusive nature. Surrounded entirely by sea and the Fier Mountains, the land is securely defended by both nature and one of Osun's most formidable armies. Very little is known about the residents of the Principalities, as well as its ruling house House Draconescu. However, it is rumored that the Principalities are home to both Dhampirs and Hexbloods.

Structure

The state is ruled by the Queen of the Vadric Principalities, Vasilica de Draconescu. Queen Vasilica is advised by and shares power with the Governor of the Principalities, Laurentia Iliescu  The Principalities' government follows a matrilineal inheritance pattern; the queen's successor is customarily her oldest daughter. Under current reign, Princess Sorana de Draconescu is first-in-line for the throne, followed by her father Mihai de Petran.

Demography and Population

The majority of the residents of the Iron Hills are dwarves, whereas most city-dwellers are humans. However, there are plenty of smaller villages and towns spread throughout the entirety of Vadria that are occupied by an assortment of humans, dwarves, and others. However, it is estimated that upwards of 90% of the population are humans or dwarves.

Foreign Relations

The Principalities maintain strong trade relations all foreign states. However, they maintain an isolationist political strategy and have little-to-no relations with neighboring countries, with the exception of the Khanagate of Saishir.
