Gifter

Qualifications

There are no qualifications needed to become a gifter. Often the person has chosen the Bearers pathway during a Path Choosing ceremony, but this is the only job within Vellich Profession Paths that can be done by someone who is a part of any pathway.

Requirements

In order to be a Gifter, they have to be asked to by a Bearer or find a Bearer willing to accept their gift.

Appointment

As a Gifter is a temporary, part-time position, there is no official appointment ceremony. The potential Gifter and any Bearer or Bearers tell a Raiser that they intend to pair up, so that they can plan for the potential birth(s).
There also needs to be a similar conversation between the Gifter and whoever they report to within their chosen Vellich Profession Paths, unless they are already part of the Bearers pathway.

Duties

The duty of a Gifter is to provide their service to the Bearer or Bearers they are paired with whenever the Bearer requires it. Once they have provided their seed and the egg is gestating inside the Bearer, they are able to stay on in this position as a support to the Bearer, or return to whichever position they previously occupied.
