Meteorite Necklace
A necklace decorated with a shard of sparkling purple meteorite, believed to be from the star of Brambleson, the Prince of Rabbits. It is used as the focus for the Shooting Star spell, and counts as court jewellery for the purposes of pulling off a Courtier Outfit.
Shooting Star is the most destructive spell that Brambleson has gifted his Bramble Oracle, Connie Furr. As the pet of the wealthy Katib Hugo Dargent, Connie must wear jewellery to blend into the Noble Court. Hugo's concubine, Lindie Asklepa, crafted this Meteorite Necklace for her from a stone found amongst former-Vizier Absalom Laureat's art supplies on the Dargent-Laureat Estate (on the night of the Whisper Vote that banished the Laureat parents). The necklace doubles as her court jewellery and a divine focus for the spell. Connie believes the piece of meteorite, which has a soft, fruity texture, actually comes from Brambleson's star.
While most of Connie's spells are purely utility or healing-based, Connie is willing to use Shooting Star, since its effects similar to the less powerful Heaven's Teardrop orison, that she can also cast. If she were ever questioned about her magical abilities, especially under the effects of truth serum or similar, she hopes she could demonstrate Heaven's Teardrop while vocally describing Shooting Star, and appear less powerful than she actually is.
