Shooting Star is a powerful spell that strikes its target with fire and bludgeoning damage. While not exclusively a Brambleite spell (in the manner of, say, Goodberry or Thicket), the spell is granted by Brambleson, the Prince of Rabbits to some of his followers, provided they are able to get their paws on the expensive focal meteorite.
Shooting Star is the most destructive spell that Brambleson has gifted his Bramble Oracle, Connie Furr. As the pet of the wealthy Katib Hugo Dargent, Connie must wear jewellery to blend into the Noble Court. She wears a Meteorite Necklace that Hugo's concubine, Lindie Asklepa, crafted for her from a stone found amongst former-Vizier Absalom Laureat's art supplies on the Dargent-Laureat Estate (on the night of the Whisper Vote that banished the Laureat parents). The necklace doubles as her court jewellery and a divine focus for the spell. Connie believes the piece of meteorite, which has a soft, fruity texture, actually comes from Brambleson's star.
