The Slayground
The Slayground is a dark and dangerous realm that the borders joyful Prince's Playground in the religion of Tybalt, the Prince of Orphans. It is the realm of the Orphan Maker, a fierce protector of children who can be called upon to remove cruel and abusive parents. While the Playground is protected from the Downstairs Room by a huge steampunk door with many intricate locks, there are no such defences for the Slayground. It is believed that the Orphan Maker only comes when he is summoned, thus there is no need to force him to stay away.
Despite the dark nature of the Slayground, it is an integral part of Tybalt's religion, as it represents the deity's ultimate commitment to protecting children and ending their suffering. The Prince's Wards sing a nursery rhyme that acknowledges the existence of the Slayground, and the role it plays in the religion.
