Personal history
An ethereal looking catfolk that hails from a mountain village on the northern continent. She was once a healer and archdruid within the tribe. Powerful, calm, and wise; Grendish is trusted by most who meet her. No one is aware of her true history though, the tribals only knowing that she's existed as long as their Sacred Tree had. Her long lifespan was never brought into question as it wasn't uncommon for the archdruids to outlive their people by many centuries due to their divine magic.
She was exiled from the tribe for being too trusting of outsiders, one such outsider being Zakina Kociak-Falenmir. The two bonded instantly to the dismay of the tribe. They allowed Kina to stay within the village for a year so long as Grendishi agreed to be responsible for her and her actions. Kina had made the mistake of being too curious about the stories of a lich living in the valley. She sought out this mythical figure despite Grendishi's protests. Even after she shared the story of losing her daughter to the lich's cruelty, that only fueled Kina's impulsiveness.
Grendishi had to rescue her from its lair when she was cornered and essentially trapped deep inside the caverns. The two managed to escape, but Kina turned back to lead Gren's undead daughter out with them. Kataledaris was a mindless zombie after months of torturous experimentation. When Grendishi couldn't bring herself to put her out of her misery, Kina did so and helped lay the woman to rest. Years later after the lich's defeat, Grendishi was welcomed back into the tribe, but she had found purpose elsewhere in Caelsimil. She found a place among Kina's family, growing close with Lucky and Sanna.
With Sanna showing so much promise with her druidic skills, Grendishi took her under her wing and began mentoring her. While Krag had immediately developed a crush on her, she did well to keep her distance, but with time, he broke down her walls. The two are in a healthy, romantic relationship and she's become the mother figure Sanna and Sirqi needed.
In truth, Grendishi is the mortal disguise of the archfey Artiana Aphrona. Her animal companion is hawk named Senu.

Her curiosity for the world is endless and she's propelled by a sense of duty to share the knowledge and wisdom she's acquired over many decades.
