Night Stalkers Tribe

Structure

The Elder makes all the rules and will take advice from other Dwe that are older or just as old as the Elder. Unlike the other two Dwe tribes the Elder makes important decisions and rules to keep their way of life protected. They are not like the other tribes, though they are still savages they are more civilized than the rest.

Culture

Unlike the other tribe of Dwe, this tribe does not practice cannibalism but only partakes in eating other races and views the human race as a sacred meal to posses great power in Dark magic. They survive by fishing in the underground river and hunting small animals that live in the cave system. They also cultivate a type of bioluminescent fungus that grows in the damp, dark parts of the caves, which they use for food and for medicinal purposes. While they are generally hostile towards outsiders, but are not as aggressive as the other tribe of Dwe. They will trade with outsiders if it is mutually beneficial, but they are always cautious and suspicious of outsiders, viewing them as potential threats to their way of life.

Public Agenda

The public agenda for the Night Stalkers is focused on maintaining their way of life and protecting their cave system from outside threats. They are a self-sufficient people who rely on their own resources and skills to survive, and they are fiercely protective of their territory. The tribe's leaders prioritize the preservation of their natural resources, particularly the underground river that provides them with water and food. They have developed a sophisticated system for managing the river, ensuring that it remains clean and free of contaminants. They also have strict rules around fishing and hunting, to prevent overexploitation of their resources.

History

Long ago, deep within the treacherous mountains that pierced the heart of the land, the Dwe thrived as a peculiar and insular tribe known as the Farmire. They burrowed their way through the earth, carving out an extensive labyrinth of caves and tunnels where they sought solace and safety from the outside world. Embracing their dark nature, they practiced forbidden rituals and indulged in cannibalism, convinced that consuming the flesh and souls of their own kind would grant them protection and power. Yet, as the Farmire grew in size and complexity, so too did the challenges faced by their leaders. The burden of governance became overwhelming, their hold on the tribe slipping as dissent and dissatisfaction grew. It was during these tumultuous times that a group of Dwe, fueled by a yearning for independence and a thirst for knowledge, decided to embark on a perilous journey. This band of adventurous Dwe, driven by their innate curiosity and a desire to escape the constraints of the Farmire, set out into the uncharted depths of the mountains. Their arduous trek led them through treacherous terrain and unexplored caverns, each step revealing new wonders and perils. Over time, they discovered a hidden cave system, a subterranean realm untouched by the light of day, teeming with untapped resources and the promise of a fresh start. Initially, survival in this harsh and alien environment proved challenging for the splinter group. The absence of familiar hunting grounds and the scarcity of food threatened their very existence. However, their adaptability and resourcefulness shone through as they confronted the formidable obstacles before them. They learned to harness the bioluminescent fungi that blanketed the caverns, transforming it into a vital source of sustenance and medicinal properties. With time, they honed their hunting and fishing techniques, exploring the dark recesses of their new home and forging a symbiotic relationship with the hidden wonders that dwelled within. In this secluded enclave, the splinter group flourished. They expanded their knowledge of the world beyond, delving into ancient texts and mysterious artifacts they discovered within their cavernous abode. Their minds expanded alongside their newfound territory, unlocking secrets and unraveling the mysteries of their existence. Their pursuit of knowledge and enlightenment set them apart from their brethren who remained bound within the confines of the Farmire. These enlightened Dwe, who would come to be known as the Night Stalkers, recognized the falsehoods perpetuated by the Farmire elders. They saw through the lies that had led to the splintering of their tribe, understanding that it was not a mere matter of size or leadership but a quest for individuality and self-discovery. They embraced the truth of their own origins, rejecting the notion that their separation was a mere consequence of administrative burdens. Meanwhile, the Mountain Children, remnants of the Farmire, remained shackled to the distorted narrative spun by their leaders. Blinded by their loyalty and ignorance, they clung to the false tale that had been woven into the fabric of their existence. They carried on with the cannibalistic traditions of their ancestors, convinced that the consumption of their own kind would bolster their dark magic and safeguard their precarious existence. As time passed, the divide between the Night Stalkers and the Mountain Children deepened. The Night Stalkers continued to embrace their newfound wisdom and understanding, their pursuit of knowledge propelling them further into the realms of enlightenment. Meanwhile, the Mountain Children, trapped in the web of deceit, clung to their twisted rituals and cannibalistic practices, their dark magic tainted by ignorance and stagnation.
