Kingdom of Eldoria (Gal-lily)

Structure

Culture

One of the major beliefs of the Galilean people is that they are the true heirs to the Pelotorean Kingdom. They believe that they should rule over all of Pelo and they may go through any means to achieve that goal. Another belief of theirs is that Peleponisia is a fraud and a fake protector against the blighted.

Public Agenda

The thing that drives this kingdom is control. They want to have control of all the Pelotorean lands and the world. They are promised praise and dominion over all kingdoms and races.

History

As the rival to Peleponisia, the Kingdom of Galilee emerged as another victorious power during the great civil war that ravaged the continent of Esira. The Nobel House of Solodwell, a prominent and influential family, stood as the driving force behind Galilee's rise to prominence. While Peleponisia established itself in the ancestral lands of the old Pelotorean Kingdom, Galilee was born out of a treaty forged between the houses of Haliber and Solodwell. The conflict had taken a heavy toll on both Peleponisia and Solodwell, depleting their resources and manpower. Recognizing the futility of further hostilities, the two houses came together to negotiate a treaty. This historic agreement granted Galilee the northern half of the former Pelotorean Kingdom, securing its position as a formidable power on the continent. In the years that followed, Galilee solidified its rule over its newly acquired territories, working diligently to rebuild and fortify its lands. With the resources and expertise pooled from both noble houses, Galilee flourished, nurturing a prosperous and thriving realm. However, tensions between Galilee and Peleponisia eventually resurfaced, leading to another conflict that resulted in significant territorial losses for both kingdoms. Galilee, facing the prospect of further erosion of its domain, began to cast its eyes beyond the borders of its land. They set their sights on the Holy States, a collection of sacred lands held by various religious orders. In a calculated maneuver, Galilee launched a campaign against the Holy States, seeking to expand its influence and replenish its diminished territories. Through strategic military engagements and diplomatic negotiations, Galilee carved out a portion of the Holy States' land, establishing the borders that shape its realm to this day. As Galilee expanded its dominion, it faced the challenge of assimilating the diverse cultures and religious practices of the Holy States. The kingdom had to navigate the delicate balance between asserting its authority and respecting the sacred traditions of the conquered lands. Over time, Galilee managed to establish a harmonious coexistence, fostering a multi-cultural society that blended the heritage of its founders with the spiritual richness of the Holy States. The Kingdom of Galilee, shaped by the union of the Nobel houses of Solodwell and Haliber, developed a distinct identity characterized by a blend of resilience, diplomacy, and cultural diversity. Its people grew to embody the values of unity and cooperation, cherishing the legacy of their founders and the vision that brought them together. Galilee stands today as a testament to the power of diplomacy and strategic alliances. Its history is one of triumph over adversity, a tale of two noble houses joining forces to forge a new path forward. While rivalry with Peleponisia lingers, Galilee remains committed to securing its place in the ever-changing political landscape of Esira, guided by the ideals of growth, harmony, and a determination to thrive in a world shaped by conflict and ambition.
