Farmire Tribe (Far-my-er)
Structure
The Elder is the highest rank in the tribe. They can make new rules and laws but they Dwe usually don't want new rules as they think they live just fine. The Elder does have power over the other Dwe but they rarely use it so they are almost there for show.
Culture
The Farmire are a highly aggressive and territorial tribe, and they fiercely protect their underground domains from outsiders. They have a particular hatred for "overworld" people, whom they view as weak and foolish for living in the light. Cannibalism is a common practice among the Farmire, and they often feast on the flesh of their enemies as a sign of dominance and power. They believe that by consuming the flesh of their enemies, they can absorb their strength and knowledge. This has led to a society that is highly hierarchical, with those who have consumed the most flesh being the most respected and feared members of their society. Dark magic is also a key aspect of Farmire culture. They practice a form of magic that is heavily focused on the manipulation of shadows and darkness, and they use their powers to both protect their underground homes and to attack their enemies. Their magic is closely tied to their cannibalistic practices, and they believe that by consuming the flesh of powerful magical beings, they can gain access to their magical abilities.
Public Agenda
They are driven by the promises of dominating the overworld and plunging it into darkness.
History
In the ancient depths of the mountains, where darkness reigns and sunlight is a distant memory, the Dwe thrived as a sinister and insidious species. The Farmire, the first tribe of the Dwe, emerged from the shadows, their existence predating the annals of history. As their numbers multiplied, the need for leadership became burdensome, prompting a fateful decision that would forever alter their twisted society. Realizing the challenges of ruling such a burgeoning population, one of the leaders of the Farmire, consumed by self-interest and a hunger for power, orchestrated the division of their tribe. Thus, the Night Stalkers and the Mountain Children were born, two factions destined to eternally vie for dominance within the subterranean realm. Separated by their respective territories, the Night Stalkers adapted to the profound darkness of the caverns below. Masters of stealth and deceit, they reveled in the terror they instilled in the hearts of their prey. Under the cloak of night, their skills honed to perfection, they stalked their fellow Dwe, driven by a belief that consuming the flesh of their own kin would augment their dark magic, fueling their insatiable thirst for power. On the other hand, the Mountain Children entrenched themselves in the treacherous peaks and valleys of the subterranean mountains. Fueled by a primal desire for dominance, they honed their skills in cruelty and brutality, relishing in the suffering inflicted upon others. Believing that by devouring the flesh of rival tribes, their dark magic would flourish, they plunged into a cycle of internal conflict, where the weakest among them became prey for the stronger, fueling their wicked ascent. While the tribes descended into a perpetual struggle for supremacy, their malevolence spilled over into their relations with other races. Fueled by their twisted desires and their belief in the dark magic that coursed through their veins, the Dwe preyed upon unsuspecting victims, viewing them as fodder to satiate their insatiable hunger for power. Yet, in their depraved society, not all Dwe were consumed by the desire to devour their own kind. Some retained a flicker of rationality and understanding, recognizing the danger of their cannibalistic tendencies. These individuals, driven by self-preservation and a semblance of unity, focused their predations on other races, consuming the flesh and souls of their victims to fuel their dark magic instead. As time wore on, the intertribal conflicts intensified, with all the tribes locked in an eternal struggle for supremacy. The ravenous hunger for power drove them to commit unspeakable acts, consuming their own kin and rival tribes alike, all in the pursuit of ever-greater darkness. In the shadowed depths of their underground domain, the Dwe continued their existence, driven by their twisted desires and the insidious allure of their dark magic. Their society, scarred by internal conflicts and cannibalistic rituals, became a testament to the depths of their malevolence.
