Qhaa (qʰɑː)

Qhaa is the name given to the Anndruk Patheon's god of law, justice, order, policing, protection, and righteousness. As with all gods, Qhaa has numerous forms, but is male and predominately associated with snakes, serpents, humanoids, and hybrids thereof. The naga, unsurprisingly, consider Qhaa their spiritual ancestor and patron. Humans who believe in justice, law, and righteousness are drawn to the Snake-God's cultus. Good governance in society is attributed to the beneficence of Qhaa. Qhaa's divine consort is the goddess of wealth and deserts, Maahr-Takk; their child is S'Sath, god of ugliness and sadness. Despite being the god of law and rules and societal order, Qhaa is not without divine philandering: there are demigods sired with mortals. Most notably, Qhaa is the biological father of the Jèredeth, a demigod and Throne of the City of Autumn in Hœm, with the mortal human woman, Zhezhoi. As the Lord of Truth and Order, Qhaa is the Opposer of Chaos and Evil. Although he is not an enemy of Naahn per se, they are definitely opposed ends of ideology, literal gods of chaos and order respectively. However, they share an enemy in Egzavi, the Lord of (Destructive) Chaos. Qhaa includes Gullen, Thāen, Ōiann, as enemies, but Vhàrnàh is among his most hate enemies. There seems begrudging respect between Thāen and Qhaa as paragons of order, albeit ethically opposed. Because of the complexity in the dynamic between Qhaa and Naahn, it is believed that this is why the Jèredeth became a warlock bound to Naahn to spite his divine father. Although, the Jèredeth would assert his inherent chaotic nature predates his association with the Lord of Change and this itself lead to the alienation from Qhaa.
