The Uannite Cult (uɑn~)
Uan (/uɑn/ or /yɑn/) is the God of Serenity, Strength, and Meditation. He is called the Perfected One.
Among the Kiels and Daoshi, Uan is called Yov. In Tzai-Léi Uan is pronounced /yʷɛn/ and also known as the variant Yunlai /yunlɑj/.
The devotees of Uan are called Uannites and are largely a monastic sect. A militant faction, called Dragon Knights of Uan—called the arakhanni /ɑɹɑkʰɑni/ among the Qh’Raa languages; the halakhani /hɑlɑkʰɑni/ among the Daoshi and Kiels—advocate for protection of the vulnerable. Among the northern tribes, Uannite cult is rare, its largest contingent is found in the Hœm city of Bwoh.
The Cult of Horbaus' knighthood are called the Arakhanyi /ɑɹɑkʰɑnji/ which is likely cognate with the Arakhanni /ɑɹɑkʰɑni/ of the Uannites. The Qh'Raa root RKN represents a notion of elevation of the mortal state, a sort of perfection be it mental, physical, spiritual, psychic, etc. Both the knights of Horbaus and the elite militant monks among the Uannites could be considered paragons of their notion of perfection.
