Doomguard

The Sinkers believe that no matter what, at some point everything will come to an end. Nothing is meant to last, no matter how well-made.   According to them, entropy should be embraced. However, while all Sinkers agree that entropy will inevitably cause the ultimate destruction of everything, the three sects of the Doomguard disagree about what they should do about it.
  • The Accelerationists believe that entropy is not happening fast enough, and do everything in their power to aid in the planes' destruction.

  • The Decelerationists believe that entropy is happening too fast and try to slow it down to a more reasonable rate.

  • And the Statists believe that it is foolish to try to force or hinder entropy in either direction. Things will decay the way they are meant to.
They have found some common ground with the Bleak Cabal, a faction that believed nothing had any meaning, and The Dustmen, who believed this life is nothing but a bleak after life to be transcended by reaching oblivion.   On the other hand, the Doomguard is at odds with The Harmonium, the Fraternity of Order, and the Believers of the Source, factions that place much importance on order and growth.

Territories

The Sinkers have four citadels on the four negative quasi-elemental planes.   In Sigil, this faction controls the City Armoury, and with good reason: as far as they can see, there’s no better symbol of decay than weapons of destruction and death.   It makes sense, too, because by controlling the Armoury they’re also keeping the tools of order out of the hands of their rivals in the The Harmonium.   ’Course, no other faction's going to let these bloods police the city, anyway –a gang devoted to entropy ain’t exactly going to promote law and order.

Everything ends.
