Protectorate (Old)

Society's relationship with capes is predicated primarily on the understanding that capes will be allowed to operate as long as a consolidated majority does so at the behest of human representatives. Think the Sokovia Accords, but with a US government sponsored corporation calling the shots instead of the United Nations.   While it is expected that all heroic capes submit to the PRT's authority, the Protectorate are the official parahuman extension of the PRT's will. In other words, the Protectorate teams are the weapons that are wielded by the PRT.   The incarnation of the Brockton Bay Protectorate featured on this page has disbanded. After Ebony Maw compelled them to reveal their deepest secrets to each other; every member except Battery deserted.
