Uniga - God of Inquisition

Uniga, the God of Inquisition, stands as a formidable and unwavering figure within the pantheons of Order and Destruction. He represents the relentless pursuit of truth through interrogation and the ruthless dismantling of falsehoods and corruption. Uniga's presence is both feared and revered, embodying the dual aspects of merciless scrutiny and the purifying force of destruction.

Influence and Worship

Uniga’s influence pervades societies that value order, justice, and the eradication of deceit. His followers include judges, investigators, and warriors who seek to uncover hidden truths and bring swift justice to wrongdoers. The worship of Uniga is characterized by a commitment to rigor, discipline, and an unyielding stance against corruption. His temples often resemble fortresses, austere and imposing, where rituals of purification and judgment are conducted.   Worshippers of Uniga engage in ceremonies that emphasize introspection, confession, and the expulsion of lies. They seek his guidance to sharpen their senses, bolster their resolve, and gain the clarity needed to discern truth from falsehood. Offerings to Uniga typically include symbols of judgment such as scales, swords, and torches, representing his role in illuminating hidden truths and destroying corruption.

Personality and Traits

Uniga is depicted as a stern and imposing figure, often clad in armor that symbolizes his unbreakable resolve and authority. His eyes are said to pierce through deceit, and his presence commands respect and fear. Uniga is relentless and uncompromising, embodying the harsh but necessary aspects of order and destruction.   He is characterized by his unwavering commitment to truth and justice. Uniga’s methods can be severe, as he believes that only through rigorous scrutiny and, if necessary, the destruction of the corrupt, can true order be achieved. His followers are taught to be vigilant, disciplined, and fearless in their quest for justice, even if it means confronting uncomfortable truths or dismantling deeply entrenched structures.

Followers

Uniga’s followers can be divided into two main groups: the mainstream followers and a government organization known as "Basa Uniga".   Mainstream Followers:
These followers are dedicated to the eradication of corruption and the establishment of order through the uncovering of truth. They include judges, law enforcers, and military officers who embody Uniga’s principles in their daily lives. Known for their intense discipline, sharp minds, and unwavering dedication to their cause, these followers undergo rigorous training to develop their skills in investigation, interrogation, and combat. They carry out Uniga’s will by conducting investigations, rooting out corruption, and bringing wrongdoers to justice.   Basa Uniga:
Basa Uniga is a powerful and public government organization led by an advisor to the Empress. This elite group is tasked with hunting down those who follow non-order gods, enforcing Uniga’s principles with a fearsome and uncompromising approach. Members of Basa Uniga are highly skilled and operate with a level of authority and autonomy that allows them to act decisively and often without public scrutiny. They are feared throughout the land, known for their relentless pursuit of justice and their willingness to use any means necessary to maintain order and eradicate chaos.

Relationships with Other Deities

Uniga’s relationships with other deities are complex, shaped by his dual nature and his uncompromising stance on justice. He often finds common ground with deities of order, such as Xilerxi, the Goddess of Order, who shares his dedication to structure and discipline. Together, they work to maintain balance and justice in the world.   However, Uniga’s harsh methods and his association with destruction can put him at odds with more benevolent or lenient deities. His unyielding pursuit of truth and justice often clashes with gods who value mercy and forgiveness.
