The Sea Mother, The Drowning Goddess
Blipdoolpoolp was the sea goddess of death, primarily worshipped by Tritons and the Kuo-Toa. She was a daughter of Persana, but did not take after her parents. She took the form of a 20 foot tall human woman with the head of a crayfish. She was revered by her followers as a "Mother of the Sea" who watched over her people. However, she was also a harsh mistress, leading many outsiders, especially those from Prime Material Plane, to refer to her as "the Drowning Goddess". She held domain over death in the Elemental Plane of Water, and was responsible for shepherding the deceased onward to their next lives.
