Namelford Eversong is the full name of a Lemure who was in the possession of Tornac. Like all lemures, Namelford is a misshapen blob of flesh, barely capable of perceiving anything other than pain and suffering. These pathetic creatures are not even allowed to die; they will return to life the dawn after their death unless slain by holy damage. Namelford was purchased from an incubus at Sconce's funeral, and was to remain in Tornac's possession until the next time he dies. Unfortunately, he escaped during Session 12: Where's Tornac?, and has not been heard from since

Personal history

In mortal life, Namelford was an eladrin man born and raised in the Feywild. He led a relatively normal childhood until he went wandering into the woods and was captured by a group of drow. The drow then spent the next two years thoroughly brainwashing Namelford, indoctrinating him into the service of Lolth so he could serve as one of her spies. After this he was returned home to his family, having been "miraculously" discovered unharmed living off of the land less than ten miles from his original home.
Once returned to normal society, Namelford took up medical school. Publicly, Namelford said he did this in order to protect the meek and make the world a better place. Privately however, his true goal was to be seen as such a generous figure that none would ever suspect him of his treachery. He spent five years achieving great renown in his field, but then grew too ambitious for his own good.
Beginning in the year 684, Namelford started serving as an obstetrician. Most of the time, he performed his services normally. Occasionally however, especially when the mother was ill, he would secret away the child and claim it died shortly before birth. In reality, he would give these children as food for Lolth's spiders. He did this 23 times before being caught. At trial, Namelford confessed his crimes and begged for forgiveness. The tribunal was not forgiving, however, and so he was executed on December 3rd, 684.
After his execution, The Raven Queen sent Namelford to Gehenna, to be with his goddess. Unfortunately for Namelford, Lolth was infuriated that he had confessed his crimes. Instead of welcoming him, Lolth turned Namelford into a lemure and sold him to a traveling incubus to be rented out to cruel-hearted individuals across The multiverse.
