Sconce
Prince
Sconce is a tiefling bard, and a member of The Assorted Crusaders. He and his party led The Morning Sun in defeating The Crimson Knights in The Blood Crusades, thereby saving the world. When the party met him, however, he was simply a bard in service to The church of Olidammara.
Sconce was slain by Penguin at The church of Olidammara. Sconce apparently forced Penguin to do this by invoking some sort of deal they had struck four years ago.
He is also a prince, rightful heir to the Esman throne, but has since abdicated that right. His father is the current king, Respect. He is currently serving as leader of the Einherjar in Vigrid

Sconce is depicted standing over his wife's corpse just after she was murdered by The Drunken Surgeon. He is titled "The Wildcard".Ragnarok Brand

General Physical Condition
Beginning to show signs of age, with some gray hairs and wrinkled skin, but still very fit and muscular. Numerous faded scars from his adventuring days serve as a reminder that the man is not to be trifled with, and yet he always has a carefree smile on his face, as if no force in the universe had the power to put him in a bad mood.

Light red skin, two curved horns come out from either side of his head and wrap around his ears, somewhat resembling a ram.

Sconce was once an adventurer of considerable renown. His adventuring party, which called themselves The Assorted Crusaders , is well-known for having saved the world from disaster in the year of 714, when they stopped a vampire lord by the name of Edward DuThane.
Mental Trauma
According to Penguin, Sconce has had a strange obsession with death ever since he has known him. He had spent much of his youth as a con artist, but ultimately wanted to work in service to The Raven Queen, and help the living decide how they wanted to spend their afterlives. When his wife died, however, Sconce changed dramatically. He became a far more generous person, and joined The church of Olidammara. According to Penguin, this is because he was desperate to spend eternity with his wife in Ysgard, and one of Olidammara's teachings is that one should only keep for themselves what they can reasonably spend on themselves. Penguin also mentioned that Sconce had once attempted suicide, but did not elaborate on the circumstances.
