Penguin's Ascension

Penguin plotted to become a god by overthrowing Zariel in order to claim the throne to Avernus. He did this motivated both by a lust for power and also a desire to cure The four curses of the Kenku. He was confident he can get this done, but was more concerned about the aftermath; a Kenku ascending to the throne would surely anger the Dukes of Air, and would likely start a war. The dukes are known to be war heroes and survivors of The Shattering, and he wanted to make absolutely certain he could defend himself when they retaliate.
He got a lot of aid from The Celestial/Murderers and his fellow gods, and ultimately took control of Avernus. The fight was bloody and difficult, and involved both the death of Tyr and the escape of Tiamat. Despite these setbacks, however, Penguin ultimately rose to godhood and restored his people to greatness.
