Session 9: Jane and Cyrci

General Summary

Yona and Jennevieve Lancaster investigate the lead Nethis Rastrin gave her regarding the incident with Atim and wind up at The Forum, the place where local vampires have been feeding. Both volunteer as blood donors
Cyrci takes over the shop next door to Cyrci's Junk and Shit, connecting it to the first one in order to expand her shop and also get new living spaces that don't contain a magical portal to the Elemental Plane of Water
A one-armed Kitsune (Tsukiko-Beta) commissions a replacement arm from Cyrci. Tsukiko-Prime later returns with her daughter Natsu to commission holy symbols.
Atim finds out about Jennevieve Lancaster volunteering at The Forum and the two spend some private time together at the office.
Yona finds Jhaan alone at a restaurant. He was waiting for Devdan, who had gotten attacked by a drunkard on his way to have dinner.
Devdan asks Yona for help finding romantic places because Vulluin is "planning something"

Jane has returned to the window, brought in by a woman named Lani Vithrald. The two are taken in for an interview but Lani Vithrald is in a hurry to leave.
At Yona's insistence, Krisi allows Lani Vithrald to go
Jane herself has complete amnesia. She is also wearing one of the medallions Cyrci crafted, and has a photo of her and Cyrci drinking together at an unfamiliar bar. On the back it says "Never Forget", in Jane's handwriting
Hobbs tries to check with Simolio, who is supposed to be at his Secret Pastry Shop, but he and his guard are both absent
The party leaves Jane with Pixo and depart to investigate what happened to her

The party does a skill challenge to investigate. At first things proceed well, but Cyrci disappears after a failed skill check. After further investigation goes bust and the skill challenge fails, the group regroups and Cyrci is still missing
They track the trail down to a nearby park, where her Where-ever is covered in blood and lying on some loose dirt. Nearby is Eden Montgomery, a 10-year old Aasimar covered in blood. She is brought in for questioning.

During interrogation, it quickly becomes clear Eden Montgomery is a vampire, newly arrived to Sigil. She is very unhelpful during questioning until her father, Phillipus Montgomery, arrives.
Phillipus Montgomery explains that they arrived through a new portal to Esma which opened in the Plague Ward.
It seems Eden Montgomery encountered Cyrci, and thought she was a threat. The two fought, and Cyrci was slain and subsequently "put to sleep", as Eden Montgomery puts it.
Phillipus Montgomery explains the situation and tries to take responsibility. Krisi tries to deflect to Pixo, but he has already left the building with Jane. Instead both Montgomery's are thrown into a holding cell. The session ends there.
