PlugCat is one of many prestige vehicle marques to be proudly based in LBN. Their manufacturing facilities are located in prime ResIndustrial sectors staffed by high Q_Rank status InMates. Fearful of the incredibly harsh Q_Rank penalties for inferior workmanship their workforce supplies some of the most skilled labour available in the Banishment Nexus.
Taking their name from the near legendary Marsh predator, PlugCat are renown for their luxury all terrain and amphibious vehicles, with a multitude of MiliTech enabled variants adopted by FED and other security forces across the PBA.
Popular ranges include the JumBuck ATV, a light but agile recon vehicle, the MarshMaster fast attack hovercraft and their X Calibre range of super luxury heavy weapons chassis; the preferred choice of senior FED staff.
As part of the premium assault experience PlugCat vehicles typically employ all manner of energy shields, defence modules and protective coatings to protect their expensive body work from attack and unwanted grime.
They export the majority of their ReproTech files to affluent InnerBelts far from LBN’s shores. Despite PlugCat’s marketing campaigns which trade heavily on their LBN heritage, local FED budget rarely stretches beyond basic utility models and serviceable misprints.
PlugCat maintains a relatively low profile in the KillMedia AKArena: DethCity LBN leagues. Unwilling to associate with the crude behaviour of InMates they prefer to supply FED agents with upgraded pursuit vehicles and reserve their top of the range models for veteran FED pilots brave enough to take to the track.
PlugCat have consistently denied claims by sanctioned Anarchaeologists that some of their iconic designs bare close resemblance to AntiNow artefacts unearthed during Tube excavations.
