Chile

Chile (CHIYL) is a village located in the northwestern part of the East March, with a population of around 250.   Most of the commercial activity in the village is centered around mining and related trade.  The nearby hills are settled by numerous small groups of hill dwarves and halflings who are actively mining the area.
The village was originally called “Wexler's Child”, but over time the name has been shortened on colloquial use, and the village leaders adopted a the new name in AF 387.
