Eridane (air-ih-DAH-nay)

Eridane is the name given to the lands traditionally inhabited by the Elves of Zantor, in particular those in in the central and near-western portions of Zantor.
Historically the term Eridane has included the range of lands (mostly woods) inhabited by elves, stretching from the eastern edges of She-lath-na'un to the far western reaches of Illastar.  This also describes the reach of the Kingdom of Eridane for much of the last 1000 years.
